The area your item will go in our catalogue which is mailed out to 3000 collectors. Your lot will also be viewed by thousands of potential bidders across the world on our website.

The auction

You can view your lot online and you may like to come to the auction and watch the bidding in person. The auctioneer will drop his hammer when the bidders in the room, by post and online have competed to their maximum price

How we earn our commission

We charge 15% (+vat) on each lot and this is what we do to earn it

  • Actively sell your item through the auction and beforehand
  • Publicise the auction by marketing and online
  • Make appropriate private buyers and agents aware of lots that match their interest
  • Print and distribute the catalogue
  • Put your item online before a network of worldwide collectors
  • Your items are insured in transit and on our premises

Proceeds are paid 40 working days from the date of the auction.

How to sell inherited stamps

It's fairly common for people to approach us who have inherited a collection of stamps and therefore do not have much knowledge about the collection.
