An interesting study into the Austro-Hungarian Navy during WWI in the Adriatic. Mainly real photo postcards sent from the various ships plus some covers etc, all annotated on album pages describing postmarks and the ships, an unusual and interesting collection
First Flight cover signed by pilot Flying Officer A W Whitta - Portsmouth to Ryde, Isle of Wight, flown by Portsmouth, Southsea and Isle of Wight Aviation Ltd, postmarked Ryde, Isle of Wight 8.30pm 3rd Feb 1934 and not backstamped, flown in a Fox 'Moth' G-ACCA, and cancelled by purple Portsmouth cachet 3 Feb 1934
A valuable unmounted mint collection from 1913 to 1998 including Roos to 2/-, noted Sydney Harbour 5/- corner marginal the rest of set in blocks of 4, 1934 Centenary set both perfs, KGVI set to £1, postage dues plus much more including many sets, a high catalogued collection
1919/1920 complete and part sheets of the British Occupation overprint issue, including varieties SG 17a 'CCUPATION' and 'BPITISH' error on various values, with generally poor condition due to storage with edges of sheets torn and creased, but still rare to find in this quantity, interesting sheets with high Cat values

A study on the Kraft Duch Freude (KDF) cruises 1934-1939, which was a was a large state-operated leisure organization in Nazi Germany to bridge the class divide by making middle-class leisure activities available to the masses by having cruises with passengers of mixed classes and having them, regardless of social status, draw lots for allocation of cabins. Well written up describing the items with postcards and postal stationery with special postmarks, plus advertising/publicity cards. An interesting and unusual lot, which was exhibited in 2007
