A letter sent from 31 Eaton Square London, concerns the Crimean War, containing accounts of Henry Norman from his Farther to his Uncle in Spain, 10d paid postage (embossed) from UK to anywhere in France from French border into Spain charge 4 reales, Henry Norman an officer of the 5th who was severely wounded on 18th June 1855 in an unsuccessful attack on the Redan at Sebastopol,his commanding Officer wrote to his Farther “A fine handsome fellow, a great favourite with his Regiment leading his Company in the most gallant style, he was dangerously wounded, little doubt mortally so when he received a shot in the head”
